- FAST. Oh boy do I need someone who's fast. I'm extremely impatient.

Title: Death's Row
Pairing: Ron/Draco
Rating: NC-17
Summary: "We hoped for the day that we would be able to love each other without having to worry about the church. Well, I guess that day is today."
Era: 1500s in Europe
Warnings: Character Death, Violence, Sex.
Beta: anguifer
Author Note: I know they didn't say "fuck" in the 1500s, but it's an AU, so, I really don't think it matters.

Death's Row

"'Ello."

"'Ello, William. So tell me, how many souls have we confiscated today?"

"Two, sir."

The man huffed in irritation. "'Tis not enough. We shall be needing more if we would like to get this ... idea engraved into the peoples heads."

"Yes'm. An' what shall we be tellin' these... people, hmm?"

"Tell them... tell them that if they refuse to conform to Church law, that they will be burned at the stake as heretics. Just as all blasphemers deserve."

"But, sir, that be what we ha' been tellin' these people all 'long."

"Well then, William, I guess you should tell them more strictly, now shouldn't you?"

"Yes'm, I will b'sure teh get straight t'that."

"Yes. Yes indeed."

"Ronald, I say! Must you always make a mess of yourself? Now, you get over here and clean this rubbish up!" A tall, blonde haired man stood in the parlor of a small house, scolding at the piles of clothes that had been strewn about the room.

"But Draco, I didn't do it!"

"Then who did it, hmm? The fox that comes around here looking for food?"

The ginger-haired man who had now entered the room stood by the doorway, shuffling his feet and not making eye contact with the other man.

"Well, he did get in an--"

"What? That fox got in?"

"Well, uh--... yes." The blonde sighed, his hands going to his hips in an exasperated manner. "I'm not even going to ask, just clean this up, you hear?"

"Yes, Draco." Ron pouted a bit then started to make his way over to clean up the mess, only to be stopped by Draco. The blonde's hands on Ron's neck.

"You'd better be glad we're at home, where no one can find us. Because if we were somewhere else, I wouldn't be able to tell you how much I love you even if you are a smelly slob at times." He said this and lightly kissed the other man.

Ron smiled once Draco had pulled away. "I really wish we weren't under the control of church law. That way we wouldn't have to be so secretive about ourselves." Ron replied morosely.

"Someday, my love. Someday."

The Church gathered many people; a burning was to take place that evening. A large pile of hay and bundles of sticks stood tall in the center of the enormous crowd, a tall, fire-scarred wooden post stood out from the center, a monument to the horrors that had taken place, that would take place.

Children stood, tightly gripping onto their mothers, looking around in curiosity. Adults had sullen looks upon their faces, knowing what was to come and wishing that children were not permitted to attend.

Five men in elegant black robes strolled out to the pyre. Each was holding a victim. The mens' faces were unreadable, the unfortunate prisoners' faces all held looks of pure terror.

The Pastor walked out behind the men. He and his helpers were acting as if this was nothing. As if they were not about to extinguish five lives. The five officials took places circling the stake, each of them tying their victim securely to the post.

The Pastor unrolled a scroll and read from it aloud once the prisoners were secure. "We gather here today to witness the burning of five souls who chose to betray the Church in all its Holiness. These souls, who have commited such acts of unmistakeable evil, shall pay for their sins. Let commence here, the cleansing of their earthly visage, so they may pay for their crimes as decreed by our Lord God.

"If there be any here who protest this punishment, let them be gone from here now, for God is merciful. The lawless here today are as follows: Annabelle Smith, Michael Reed, Fredrick Weasley, and Elizabeth Gambon, and Victoria Meriwether. We will now light the cleansing fire, and pray for the eternal damnation of these Godless."

The crying of the women could be heard beyond the Pastor's commanding voice. In the crowd most people wore blank masks, or let their grief and sadness show openly. All except one, whose face resembled one of pure agony.

Tears streamed down this person's face as he watched his innocent brother burn, his cries of agony barely heard over the roar of the flames.

Screeching, screaming, cries, and pleas could be heard from the five. But the loud cackling of the fire was much louder, black smoke billowed out into the air like a great demonic spirit.

The smell of burning flesh brought back memories of another exceedingly dark time, of when the Black Death ruled Europe. But all of the cries and screams went ignored by the five men in black and the Pastor, whose chin was held up high as they watched the flames with barely concealed pleasure.

"Ron, love, please try not to ruin the whole house; it's the only place we've got."

Ron breathed heavily as he stood facing the wall of the bedroom that he shared with Draco. Grieving and angered, Ron had decided to take these emotions out on the wall, thinking that since it could not respond that he was safe.

"I hate this place." Ron replied, turning around to face Draco, which always made him feel somewhat better.

"Why can't we leave?"

"We cannot afford it."

Draco sighed, bringing his hand up to cup Rons pale, freckled face in a loving manner. Ron's blue eyes filled with sorrow and anger.

Ron sighed also and leaned into Draco's touch, closing his eyes and praying to God that everything would turn out okay. The blonde's thumb started to move back and forth, creating a small yet comforting friction upon Ron's face.

Ron opened his eyes then leaned forward to kiss Draco, his large, carpenter hands caressing Draco's back. Draco's slim, small hands went to cup Ron's neck.

The blonde applied light pressure to the back of Ron's neck, encouraging the other man to deepen the kiss. With little concious thought, the red-head moved himself and the blonde backward towards the bed.

Draco, caught by surprise by Ron's actions, pulled away, gasping for breath, neck tilted back slightly. Ron took advantage of the exposed skin to suck lightly there, causing Draco to sigh in pleasure and his hands to drop down to Ron's hips.

Rons hands went up under the shirt Draco was wearing. Caressing the pale skin there, moving his hands up further so that the shirt could be discarded.

Draco mimicked Ron's actions as the two pressed their bare chests against on another, their breathing becoming heavier, their kisses more frantic and needy.

Ron gently pushed Draco down onto their messy, yet comfortable bed. Gazing down at the slim body beneath him, he too laid down on the bed.

Draping himself over Draco, he placed light kisses among the pale flesh of his neck, shoulders, and chest. Pushing off the blondes trousers he took a hold of Dracos hips and pushed him so that he lay further up the bed.

Ron then took off the last of his clothes as well and joined Draco back on the bed. His hands went to the blonde's thighs, where he rubbed and squeezed the soft skin there.

Draco's feminine hands were tangled within the fiery red locks of Ron's hair, tugging a bit as Ron's hand wrapped it's calloused fingers around the blonde's erection.

Moaning quietly, Draco arched up into the touch, needing more. Draco's hands went up to Ron's face and he kissed him. Their mouths moving against each other, tongues intertwining; wet, hot and oh so amazing.

Ron sighed into the kiss and Draco moaned as Ron's hand sped up, squeezing on the up stroke. Draco pulled away and gasped Ron's name.

"Christ, Ron."

"What, Draco?"

"Fuck me. I need it."

"Oh do you now?"

"Yes, you imbecile. I want you." His hips thrust up against Ron's own erection to emphasize his point, which in turn caused Ron to cry out. "I want you so bad. Just, please- oh, fuck me Ron."

Ron gasped at the blonde's words and watched in awe as Draco spread his legs wide, bending at the knee, putting himself on display.

Ron leaned down for one more hot, passionate kiss as he quickly sucked on two of his fingers, covering them with saliva. He then moved his hand down to Draco's bum as he found the entrance and pushed one finger inside.

Draco keened and thrust down onto Ron's finger as he asked for more. Moaning a bit louder as Ron added another finger. The ginger-haired man sped up his pace.

"Ron, I need you. Now. God, I need you so much. Please."

Ron nodded and spit into his hands a couple of times, hoping it was enough as he covered his cock and moved Dracos legs further apart and up.

"Now, Ron."

Ron pushed into Draco, causing a moan to spill from the blonde's mouth. Ron had to pause for fear he may not make it very long if he didn't collect himself.

"Move, God, Ron. Move before I do it myself." Draco's words only caused Ron to moan and shudder lightly. He pulled out a bit then thrust back into the hot, tightness that was Draco.

Their movements sped up as moans, gasps, whimpers, and groans spilled from the two men. Their bodies covered in a thin layer of sweat.

"Oh, Ron! Harder, God, fuck me harder!"

Ron groaned, as he moves not faster, but with more passion and love than before, hoping it showed. It obviously did as Draco cried out and arched his back, keening and thrusting down onto Ron, equally passionate.

Ron--head thrown back and mouth hanging open as his breath came out in short gasps--was now fucking Draco in earnest. His hands gripping tightly at Draco's bony hips, sure to leave bruises.

"Oh, Draco. 'M not go--going to last much ... oh ... longer."

The blonde groaned in reply, then gasped when Ron's hand wrapped around Draco's cock. Ron's hand gripping tightly as he slid his hand up and down in a fast pace.

Dracos hands gripped and twisted the bed covers as he came, moaning and gasping Ron's name. His body clenching down on Ron, which in turn caused him to come as well.

Ron's hand, which was still on Dracos hip, gripped tighter than before as his head hung down and he clenched his jaw. Quiet grunts coming from behind his closed mouth.

The two men calmed down, their bodies relaxing as they came down from their high. Draco leaned back onto the bed in a tired manner as Ron lay down too.

Draco instantly moved close to Ron, throwing a leg over Ron's, their fingers entwining with each others as their breathing mellowed out.

Ron brought their laced hands up and kissed their fingers before drifting off into a deep, content sleep.

"William, you had something to show me?"

"Yes, sir. These two," The man shoved two other men forward.

"Are betraying the church in the worst way." The Pastor started to look confused, but only until the man replied saying: "The worst way, sir."

The Pastor's look of confusion slowly turned into one of realization, then disgust. "They will be burned immediately. No trials. They do not deserve one."

The man nodded.

"When, sir?"

"Tonight."

Men, women and children rushed to the church, all just receiving news that there was to be an unplanned, but urgent, burning that night.

It was December 24th, most parents not wanting their children to witness such an event on such a night, however the Pastor had decreed that everyone attend.

A group of ginger-haired people looked around, searching for their missing family member. Not far away, a tall, intimidating man with white-blonde hair pulled back into a loose ponytail looked around for his son, his wife almost frantic with worry beside him.

Those people were soon stricken however, with realization that it was their loved ones being burned that night. Wondering what on Earth they could be guilty of, the two separate families moved forward, wanting to be able to hear the Pastor's words clearly.

The Pastor walked out of the church with a familiar scroll. He turned and unrolled the parchment, reading in a loud, commanding voice.

"We gather here today to witness the burning of two souls who chose to betray, not only the Church in all its Holiness, but the most important Rule of God as well. These souls, who have commited such acts of unmistakeable evil, shall pay for their sins. Let commence here, the cleansing of their earthly visage, so they may pay for their crimes as decreed by our Lord God.

While some did not know what was meant by "not only the Church in all its Holiness, but the most important rule of God", most did, including the families of the two men.

The ginger-haired group gasped. The mother and sister burst into tears as the men simply looked like they were about to be burned as well.

The white-blonde haired man put on a blank face as his wife, like the ginger haired women, started sobbing into his chest.

The two black robed men tied the two lovers to the stake and lit the hay ablaze. They grabbed for each others hands, tears streaming down the blonde's face as the heat started to envelope him.

The ginger haired man shut his eyes as the flames scorched his feet. The two men held each others hands all throughout the burning.

Neither man made a sound as the black smoke, once again, spread upward and outward into the air. Signaling to all who had not attended that there had been yet another burning.

As Draco's body was burned mercilessly by the flames, he thought to himself: "We hoped for the day that we would be able to love each other without having to worry about the church. Well, I guess that day is today."

Cancellation and Notification

Now, I don't know how many of you read the first chaper of my AU "Verrückte Schau" but, since it does not sem to be going anywhere I have decided to stop writing it completely. Now, for the few that did read it (I highly doubt anyone did) you can, of course, leave comments voicing your question and/or complaints. But nothing is going to change my mind, I am sad to say. Besides, I would like to focus on Fubar, a story that I know at least one person reads :)

Of course, if there are any of you out there that would like to read something by me, you are way more than welcome to read Fubar, there are only five chapters and a prologue out so it should not take long to catch up. But, you can expect more fics from me in the future if you actually like my material. Also, know that I take my time with my stories, because I do want to provide you only with the best I can do.

And I am always welcoming people who would like to beta for me, for my writing is not perfect. So, if you like to beta a story for me in the future, you may also leave me a comment with your email, AIM, or Myspace (which ever one I can reach you best at) and I will talk to you a bit before I make my decision. But I, yet again, apologize to those that had read Chapter one of my first (and probably last) AU. I will keep you in mind and may write another AU if I feel that I have enough inspiration and time.

For those of you that read this (which is probably not a lot) I would very much like you to leave a comment even if you are not wanting to beta or complain about my cancellation of my story, because I just love making new friends
